Thekla Lark |
I have been sifting through my blog photograph folder, a stash where I organise photos for inclusion in my various blogs. I was surprised to find a number unused, why I don’t know, but quite a few never actually made it to the blog for 2013. It’s always fun to look through the photo files, evoking memories and pondering how I might get better shots of some species in the future. Taking half decent photos is as much about giving yourself opportunities as anything else, so for me luck is on my side as a guide, where I am able to spend so much time looking and marvelling at wildlife.
Anyway here I am posting a few photos from the cutting room floor, photos that for some reason I did not think were good enough to make the cut. The ones here are taken in Spain and compliment the last blog, where I showcased a few highlights for 2013 in my local patch. Hoping you enjoy this latest offering.

Peter ...I guess some times when you're guiding it isn't always opportune to spend time with your camera too ..the Thelda Lark is beautiful, and also the Broad Scarlet certainly stands out. The Stonechat and Pied Flycatcher equally enchanting
Such a beautiful assortment of birds, and other creatures Peter. It is such a joy to see birds from other places and also see some so close to those that we have here in KY,USA. Thank you for sharing your world~
